Pupil progress meetings are held each term. Class teachers meet with Senior Leaders and the SENCo to monitor the progress children are making towards their targets and to decide on what action should be taken if adequate progress has not been made, for example inclusion strategies to use in the classroom, or inclusion in an intervention group.
Where children have individual Education Plans (IEPs), the targets are reviewed by the teachers and pupils and parents at Learning Review meetings which are held twice yearly.
Yearly Annual Startegy Review Meetings are held for pupils with statements of Special Educational Need.
Parents evenings are held for all children twice a year.
The views of parents and pupils are highly valued and form a crucial part of any decision making. Please do not hesitate to make an appointment to see your child's teacher and/or Mrs Rule if you have any concerns or questions regarding your child's education or well-being.
