What is Good to be Green?
At Uplands Junior School the behaviour monitoring system we use is known as 'Good to be Green'.It is used for monitoring behaviour in the classroom, in assembly and at school events.
Why do we use it?
We understand the importance of rewarding and praising children who make the right behaviour choices most of the time.
It also helps us to monitor pupils who need support with some areas of their behaviour and intervene to help them 'stay on green' in future.
The visual approach supports all of our pupils in understanding the importance of positive behaviour.
Children are rewarded with stickers in the Friday assembly for staying Green all week, a certificate is awarded if children stay Green all term.
